Hazelnut cookies

Bake delicious hazelnut cookies that go perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea. Our recipe for hazelnut cookies will make your mouth water.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g ground hazelnuts
  • 200 g soft butter
  • 200g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt

  • Small teaspoons or ice cream scoops
  • Fork or cookie stamp (optional)

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Preparation:

    • Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (fan oven).
    • Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  2. Mix butter and sugar:

    • In a mixing bowl, mix the softened butter and sugar until the mixture is nice and creamy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla:

    • Add the egg and vanilla extract and continue stirring until well combined.
  4. Mix flour, ground hazelnuts, baking powder and salt:

    • In a separate bowl, mix the flour, ground hazelnuts, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
  5. Add dry ingredients:

    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  6. Form cookies:

    • Use small teaspoons or an ice cream scoop to place dough portions on the prepared baking sheet. Leave enough space between the dough portions as the cookies will spread slightly during baking.
  7. Optional: Decorate:

    • You can flatten the cookies slightly with a fork or decorate them with a cookie stamp if you like.
  8. Bake:

    • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool down:

    • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
