The choice of materials - the beginning of perfection

At Kahla Porcelain, everything begins with the selection of the best raw materials. The quality of the kaolin, feldspar and quartz forms the basis for the first-class porcelain products. Only the purest and highest quality materials make it into our production.

Shaping - Art Meets Craft

The raw materials are mixed and shaped, combining traditional techniques and cutting-edge technologies. Our skilled artisans shape each piece with care and precision to achieve the perfect balance between form and function.

The Burning - A Dance with Fire

After molding, the porcelain pieces are fired at extremely high temperatures. This process gives the porcelain its strength and characteristic shine. Each firing process requires the utmost attention to ensure that each piece achieves the desired quality.

The Glaze - A Touch of Elegance

After the first firing, each piece is carefully glazed. The glaze not only gives the porcelain a shiny surface, but also protects it and makes it resistant to scratches and wear. A second firing process fixes the glaze and brings the porcelain to perfection.

The finishing - attention to detail

Each piece of porcelain is then finished by hand. Whether hand-painted decorations or delicate engravings – our artisans give each product the finishing touch. This process makes each piece unique and underlines the high level of craftsmanship at Kahla.
